Christine Ann Christianson

Christine Ann Christianson, 65, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home Wednesday, February 21, 2024.

Chris was born on July 1, 1958, in Sturgeon Bay. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Theodore and Bernadine Elaine (Delfosse) Kaczmarek. Chris graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1976. She worked at PBI until its closing in 1996. It was at PBI she met Dale Christianson, and they were married February 14, 1981. Chris went on to work at Quality State Oil before her employment with NEW Insurance Concepts until 2021. She was currently employed at the Landmark in Egg Harbor and was affectionately known as their “mother hen”.

Chris enjoyed time spent being a mom and especially “Grandma Chrissy”. She liked anything the color purple, following the Packers, crocheting, and attending concerts. Everyone enjoyed her very popular potato salad and calico beans at just about every occasion. She had to peel all those potatoes but she knew it would be worth it! If punctuality and organization were a competition, she would NEVER come in second! Always a gold medal!

Surviving family members include her three children and their families, Amy Christianson of Egg Harbor, Matt (Melly) Christianson [and their children, Brayden and Miles] of Green Bay, Sarah (Colin) Zelhofer [and their children, Nicholas and Allison] of De Pere; three siblings, Tom (Jean) Kaczmarek [and their children, Nathan, Justin, and Brandon] of Sturgeon Bay, Sue (Dave) Zernicke [and their son, Jake] of Howard, Karen (Pat) Lamirande [and their children, Jessica, Anna and Natalie] of De Pere; her mother-in-law, Dorathy Christianson of Sturgeon Bay; and many aunts, uncles, extended family and in-laws.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Joe and Bernie Kaczmarek; and her husband of 30 years, Dale.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Huehns Funeral Home, officiated by Fr. Anthony Birdsall.

Friends may call Saturday, March 2, 2024 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Huehns Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy, memories, and photos of Chris may be shared with her family through her tribute page at www.huehnsfuneralhome.com.
