Cheryl Jome, 72, of Forestville, passed away on April 9, 2024, after a brief illness. She was born Sept. 23, 1951, in Algoma to Sylvester and Jean (Toppe) Jome. Cheryl was a 1969 graduate of Southern Door High School. Throughout her work career, she was employed by the Southern Door School System, the Production Credit Association, Uecker Implement in Forestville, and the Ebbeson Law Office. She ended her career as the Clerk of Courts Office at the Door County Justice Center, retiring in 2016. She is survived by a brother, Mark (Doris) Jome, Franklin, WI; 2 nieces, Lauren (Andy) Miller, Hartland, WI, and Lisa Jome (Fiancé, Andrew Susedik), Franklin, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, April 15, 2024, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Forestville. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Forbes Funeral Home on Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 3:00 – 7:00 pm and at the church on Monday from 9:30 am until the time of service. Devotions will be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday evening.
