Gerald “Jerry” Allen Boe, of Houston, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024 in League City, Texas at the age of 91. He was born on October 10, 1932 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to Arthur and Gladys Boe. Jerry spent 14 years in the United States Air Force, as a bombardier, then as a fighter pilot flying the F-102, F-106, and the F-104. He served in the reserves for more than a decade before retiring from the military. He flew internationally as a Captain with Eastern Airlines until his retirement in the early 90s. He was an avid square dancer with the Wheel Arounds Club in Marietta, Georgia and enjoyed traveling and socializing as part of that pastime. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Jean Boe, his sister Shari Venell and brother Ronald Boe. He is survived by his sons, Jeff Boe of Austin, TX, Eric Boe and wife, Kristen, of Houston, TX, and his grandchildren, Madeline and Anthony Boe. Interment will take place on Friday, May 24 at 10:00 am at Bayside Cemetery in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin under the direction of Forbes Funeral Home, 319 W Spruce St, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235, Phone: (920) 743-6574.
