Carol Berglund, 86, of rural southern Door County passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024. She was born December 24, 1937 in Manitowoc, WI to Arvin and Loretta Zahorik. On July 12, 1958, she married William Berglund. Carol was a charter member of the Door County Master Gardeners Association and was an advocate for the performing arts. She was a volunteer for the Weidner Center in Green Bay and Peninsula Players in Door County. A Celebration of Carol's life will be held Sunday June 2, at Crossroads at Big Creek Nature Preserve in Sturgeon Bay 1-4 pm. Carol's remains will be interred at Stevenson Cemetery in Little Sturgeon, Door County at a later date.
