Allen Lee Fortemps, 69, Algoma, It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our father, a man of few words but a heart full of love and kindness. Born in Sturgeon Bay, WI on October 2, 1954, to the late Allen and Virginia (Betts) Fortemps, Allen passed away on May 24, 2024, in Algoma, WI, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Known for his passion for wildlife and spending time with his grandkids, Allen found joy in the simple moments of life. As a dedicated Millwright, he excelled in his trade, always providing for his family with hard work and determination. Allen leaves behind his sons, Allen (Salena) Fortemps, Kewaunee, and Clint (Christie) Fortemps, Kaukauna; grandchildren, Emily Fortemps, Kewaunee, and Sydney Fortemps, Freedom; great-granddaughter, Scarlette. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and his presence will be deeply missed. In addition, he is survived by his sister, Polly Soukup, Sturgeon Bay; brother-in-law, Michael Woolums, Green Bay; as well as by nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Virginia Fortemps, his brother Paul; sister, Ginger Woolums; and brother-in-law Richard “Rick” Soukup.
