Bud Weaver, 95, of Naples, FL and Ephraim, WI, passed away on February 16, 2024. He was born on December 27, 1928, in Louisville, KY. Bud, also known as Frank Charles Weaver, was a true gentleman, devoted to God, his family, and his country. Bud served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War while stationed in Heidelberg, Germany. After his military service, he embarked on a successful career with PPG Industries. Eventually, Bud purchased a PPG division and transformed it into Weaver Glass Inc. in Omaha, NE. In addition to his professional achievements, Bud had a passion for sailing and was an avid sailor and LNVT tugboat owner. He held the prestigious title of Kentucky Colonel and was also recognized as an Admiral in the Great Navy of the State of Nebraska. Bud was a dedicated parishioner of the Church of Atonement in Fish Creek, WI, and Trinity by-the-Cove Episcopal Church in Naples, FL. His faith was an integral part of his life. Bud is survived by his wife, Carole Pyle Weaver; his son, Frank Charles “Chuck” Weaver II; his daughter-in-law, Debra Lynn Weaver; his granddaughter, MacKenzie Lee Weaver Davis and her husband Jonathan Scott Davis. He will also be deeply mourned by Carole's children, Julie Ryan (Jeff) and Randy Pyle (Elizabeth); as well as her grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Bud was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Lee Weaver. A memorial service to celebrate Bud's life is planned for July 21, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Horseshoe Bay Golf Club in Egg Harbor.
