Harriet G. Ducat

Harriet G. Ducat, 82, New Franken, passed away peacefully Monday morning, July 8, 2024, at her home following a short illness.  She was born on January 3, 1942, in Bay View to the late John J. and Libbie (Boulanger) Collin. She was a graduate of Luxemburg High School.  On October 8, 1960, Harriet married Roland J. Ducat at St. Louis Church in Dyckesville.  She worked for McMahon’s of Luxemburg, Packerland Automotive in Green Bay, and Harbor Credit Union in Green Bay.   Harriet loved to spend time with her beloved family, tend to her flowers, garden, cook, bake, attend sports events, the cabin in Pembine, shop at Kohl’s, fish on the Foxy Lady, church activities, Ducat Girls weekends, windchimes and windmills, and so much more.   She was a member of Holy Cross Parish in Bay Settlement and was a proud supporter of the Luxemburg Casco Wrestling Booster Club, receiving the lifetime achievement award, along with her husband Roland, in 2017.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years Roland and their five children Kathy Ducat(James Cunningham), Lynn (Robert) Fife, Paula (Dan) Burkart, Tim (Kris) Ducat, Phil (Deanna) Ducat; eleven grandchildren Melissa (Levi) Foss, Brendan (Mandy) Baier, Jenna Burkart, Corissa (Daniel) Traxler, Evan (Rachel) Burkart, Brett (Mari) Kowaleski, Megan Kowaleski, Trevor Ducat, Cullen (Leah) Ducat, Vivienne and Evelyn Ducat; eleven great grandchildren Ian, Lundyn, Lydia, Eliza, Camden, Aiden, Nora, Whitley, baby twin boys in August, and Emerson; siblings Eugene (Madella) Collins, Mae Vandermeuse, Joe (Rosella) Collin, Dan Collin; one brother in law Dale (Lynn) Ducat; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Harriet was preceded in death by her parents; her father in law and mother in law Walter J. and Odile M. (Nellis) Ducat; one sister in law Jan Collin.

Friends may call between 8:30 and 10:45 am on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Holy Cross Church, Bay Settlement. Funeral 11:00 am on Monday with Abbot Gary Neville O.Praem. Officiating.  Entombment in the Shrine of The Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
