Nathan Lee Gerdmann, 68, formerly of Sturgeon Bay, recently of Conroe, Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2024. He was born January 15, 1956 in Sturgeon Bay, son of the late Alfred and Alma (Hanson) Gerdmann. Nathan graduated from Sevastopol High School with the Class of 1974. Nathan worked as a material handler for Bay Shipbuilding. He loved anything car related. He really enjoyed collecting and restoring cars, especially Fords. Nathan will be missed by his children, Keli (Nathan) Wood of Northwood, New Hampshire and Chad (Mandie) Gerdmann of Sturgeon Bay; four grandchildren, Owen and Joslyn Wood, Cora and Nathan Gerdmann; siblings; Nancy (Bucky) Antink, Tony (Lynn) Gerdmann, Lanny (Swanee) Gerdmann; sister-in-law, Lonnie Gerdmann; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Gregory Broeckel; brother, Stephen Gerdmann; sister, Claudine Beaudoin; and nephew, Evan Gerdmann. Nathan’s life will be honored with a private family service at Bayside Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. Huehns Funeral Home of Sturgeon Bay is assisting the Gerdmann family.
