Donald J. Tebon "Don"

Donald “Don” J. Tebon of Wales entered eternal life on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the age of 90. He was born in Algoma, WI on January 27, 1934 the son of Goldie and Laura (Malfroid) Tebon. In his senior year of high school, he was part of a winning FFA barbershop quartet. Afterwards, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1952 until 1956. His flight crew was the first to catch spy balloons over Russia. On August 30, 1958 he married his high school sweetheart, Mercedese “Mercy” Rose at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Maplewood, WI. He earned his bachelor’s degree from UW-Milwaukee in 1960 and went on to have a successful career in marketing and sales. Don’s approachable and outgoing nature made him a natural salesman. He worked many years for Kaiser Aluminum and retired from Howard Brass & Aluminum. He was an aviation enthusiast and loved attending the EAA. Don also enjoyed golfing but most of all loved and cherished his family. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of almost 66 years, Mercy and their children, Becky (Nick) Dorsano, Laura (Michael) Nedwick, Marc (Laurie) Tebon, David (Linda) Tebon, Renee (Bill) Somers and Jennifer (Jose) Blasco-Tebon; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Dorsano, Tyler Dorsano, Kyle Nedwick, Nicole (Garrett) Williams, Aaron (Lesley) Nedwick, Mitchell Tebon, Peyton (Shauna) Tebon, Tannor Tebon, Alejandra Blasco and Jaime Blasco. He is further survived by his sister Joyce (Roy) Engelbert, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers Clifford, Lester and Kenny. Visitation will take place on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 9:30AM until the 11:00AM Mass at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 WI-59, Waukesha, WI 53189. Burial with full military honors will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Lunch will be served following the burial at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association. Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home in Waukesha, WI is serving the family.
