Donald Lee Moore

Donald Lee Moore, 86, Algoma, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, January 2, 2025. He was born June 25, 1938, on the family farm in Institute to Arthur and Audrey (Bliss) Moore. Don married Patricia Seiler in Kewaunee on June 21, 1977. Don's lifelong career was being a meat cutter and meat manager for 65 years at the Piggly Wiggly in Algoma. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Packers and Brewers. He enjoyed family get togethers, making homemade brats, taking motorcycle rides, gardening, bowling, shooting pool, making breakfast for his grandchildren, processing deer with friends and a good highball with his 50/50 soda. Don could do or make anything when he put his mind to it, including remodeling his homes and making furniture. Don was a happy go-lucky guy with a great sense of humor. Don is survived by his wife, Pat, his three daughters, Audrey (David) Perry, Linda (John) McDowell and Jessica Madison; seven grandchildren Zachary (Sierra), Robbie, Stephanie (Reese), Krista (Brandon), Trevor, Brycen and Brody; five great grandchildren Brooklyn, Kaiden, Savannah, Reid and Colt; brother Raymond Moore, sister Eileen Keup; father-in-law Lloyd Seiler, sister-in-law Karen Moore and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his daughter Dianne Grovogel, his parents, sister and brother-in-law Beverly (Robert), brother Robert, mother-in-law Carol Kroening, step mother-in-law Alice Seiler and brother-in-law Robert Keup. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at the Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma, from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PM with Pastor Kenneth Taylor officiating. Burial with full Military Rites at the Evergreen Cemetery to follow after the service. Express your online sympathy, memories and pictures on Donald's tribute page at www.schinderlefuneralhome.com.
