Daniel Paul Frykman, age 75, died January 7, 2025, at the Cherry Cove Senior Living community in Sturgeon Bay. Dan was a son of the late Wilfred and Margaret Frykman, Wheaton, Illinois. He is survived by siblings Karen Frykman, San Rafael, California; Faith Frykman, Dianne Frykman Capps, and David Frykman, all of Door County. He was predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Frykman Dixon of Tennessee. Dan is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, as well as fourteen great nieces and nephews. Dan was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and lived in Wheaton, Illinois until he attended Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee. He finished his higher education at University of Illinois in Chicago. Prior to moving to Sturgeon Bay, Dan lived in California, Utah and, most recently, Hayden, Arizona. An outstanding athlete, he excelled in cross-country track, pole-vaulting and soccer. Later, his passion was family and glamour photography. And he was, at times, a cross-country 18-wheeler driver. Thank you to Dr. Paul S.
