Roberta Lynn Laufenberg, 63, Sturgeon Bay passed away calmly in the loving arms of her husband on January 12, 2025, at Auroa Bay Care Center, Green Bay. She was born in Berlin, Wisconsin on September 7, 1961, to Michael and Mary (Plump) Klawitter. On February 23, 2002, she married Laverne Laufenberg, Jr., in Madison. When she was younger, she used to drag race motorcycles. Bobbie enjoyed sports, especially hockey, basketball and football. She was a great pool player and played in multiple leagues. Bobbie also made her own soap and sold it at farmer’s markets in Door County. She loved gardening, especially her plants, traveling and painting. Survivors include her husband, Vern; her mother, Mary Klawitter, Oregon, WI; a brother, Jay (Theresa) Klawitter, East Troy, WI; parents-in-law, Laverne and Karen Laufenberg, Madison; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Richard (Trisha) Laufenberg, Madison; Vince (Amy Grant) Laufenberg, Vernona; Elizabeth (Burt) Preston, Madison and many nieces, nephews and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. Memorial Services will be on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Forbes Funeral Home, with Deacon Mark Hibbs officiating.
