Ronald “Opie” E. Anderson, 65, Casco, beloved husband, father, papa, and friend, passed away on March 24, 2025. He was born on July 10, 1959, to the late Gustave and Emily (Goll) Anderson. On August 27, 1983, he married the love of his life, Lynn Gilson in Tonet. Through the years, Ron worked in construction. When not working, Ron “The Lincoln Legend” loved going to the races and cheering on his favorite drivers. He enjoyed spending time at the ballpark, going hunting, and taking nighttime drives before dark. Family brought him happiness, and Ron loved attending the grandkids events and Saturdays were for burger dates with Lynn. He also found joy working in his shop. Ron is survived by his wife, Lynn; sons, Eric (Amanda) Anderson, Justin (Brook) Anderson; grandkids, Jackson and Grayson; sister, Joyce Anderson; sister-in-law, Betty Anderson; brothers, Richard (Cindy) Anderson, and Ralph (Nancy) Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustave and Emily (Goll) Anderson; brothers, Roger Anderson and Randy Anderson; sister, Gayle LeMere, and In-laws, Allen and Audrey Gilson. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 3:00-8:00 pm at Kinnard Funeral and Cremation Service, Casco. Closing Prayer Service will take place at 8pm.
