Kenneth John Boucher

Kenneth John Boucher, age 73, of Luxemburg passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on May 10, 2025, after an 8 year battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born at home in Tonet, WI to Gaylord and Virgil (Cravillion) Boucher on June 12, 1951. Ken’s mother passed away when he was 4 months old. He was then raised by his paternal grandparents Joseph Jr. and Hazel Boucher. Ken attended Washington Graded School until it closed, and then Casco Graded School. He attended Casco High School and graduated from Luxemburg-Casco High School in 1969. In March of 1971, he enlisted in the US Army Reserves and served for 6 years. After honorable discharge, he joined the American Legion Post 262. On October 9, 1971, he married his high school sweetheart Nancy Sacotte at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Casco. Together they shared 53 years of marriage and raised three beautiful daughters. They farmed a small hobby farm in Casco, while Ken worked at the James River/Georgia Pacific paper mill for 40 years. After retirement, he performed predictive maintenance at L&S Electric Co. for another 2 years. He was an avid Milwaukee Brewer and Green Bay Packer fan. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, bowling and playing cards with friends. His greatest love was family vacations up north and cheering on his grandkids at their sporting events. He was a hardworking man who always made time for anyone in need. Family was very important to him. He is survived by his wife Nancy; three daughters Jenny (Rob) Kinnard, Sarah (Jamie) Conard, and Alison (Jesse) Schley; grandchildren Trevor (Madelyn) & Carson Kinnard, Selina (Colton) & Sophie Conard, Braeden & Hannah Schley; great-grandchildren Francis & Carter Pennings-Kinnard; brothers and sisters Jim (Linda), John (Barb), Ed, & Ron Boucher, Chris (Jerry) Werner, and Sue Grumann; sisters and brothers-in-law Anita (Mark) Mueller, Peggy (Larry) Johnson, Maria (Dan) Rueckl, and Paul (Anne) Sacotte. Further survived by many nieces, nephews and other close family & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, granddaughter Lindsey Conard, brothers Joe & Dave Boucher, brother-in-law Steve Grumann, and mother & father-in-law Francis & Joan Sacotte. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation, which will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services in Casco. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue Friday, May 16, 2025, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Lincoln from 9:00-10:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am with Fr. Antonio Rex Palaya officiating. Burial will follow at St. Odile Cemetery in Thiry Daems with full military rites. We want to give special thanks to our Mom for all her loving care allowing Dad to stay at home, and the special care that was provided by Cher and Bristol Hospice.
