Patricia A. Peterson

Patricia Ann Peterson, 71, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on July 9, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born Sept. 18, 1953, in the Town of Lincoln to Clarence and Verna (Jandrin) Wery. Patricia graduated from Southern Door High School in 1971. On May 7, 1983, she married Donald Lee Peterson. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2013. Patricia worked as a cook at the Country Kitchen for many years and worked at Pick N’ Save as a butcher in the meat department. She loved to cook and spend time in her garden and reading many, many books. Patricia especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by 4 children: Martin Peterson, Tucson, AZ; Ronald (Lorri) Peterson, Gatesville, TX; Tory Peterson, Sturgeon Bay, WI; and Brandon (Niki) Peterson, Sturgeon Bay, WI; 8 grandchildren: Bryce (Jamie) Wells, Waco, TX; Nicole (Randy) McGee, Gatesville, TX; Mariah Peterson, Sarasota, FL; Allison Peterson, Topeka, KS; Charley Peterson, Sturgeon Bay, WI; Maverick Peterson, Sturgeon Bay, WI; Mack Peterson, Sturgeon Bay, WI; and Chole Froseth, Montello, WI; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Joe) DesJardin; brother, Randy Wery; 2 brothers-in-law, Alan and Stanley Peterson; 2 nieces, Jamie DesJardin and Jessica Peterson-Meyers. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Sandy Peterson; 2 brothers, Donald and Michael Wery. Memorial services will be conducted at the Forbes Funeral Home at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home on Saturday.
