Priscilla Olson Krist

Priscilla “Pete” Olson Krist, 88, of Ephraim, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at her home in Ephraim. She was born March 12, 1937, in Ephraim, daughter of the late Martin Joseph Sr. and Fannie Thorp (Skidmore) Olson. Pete attended Gibraltar prior to attending Normal School in Algoma before graduating from UW-Oshkosh with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. Pete returned to Gibraltar School District to teach for over 45 years. One of Pete’s greatest joys was traveling especially to Sault St Marie, driving to around “Up North”, visiting the casinos, and down to Port Washington. Trips to Korbel, California and London, England with Carol and Lester were fond memories for Pete. Pete is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Keith; sister-in-law Pam Brusky; Robert (Carla) Krist; nephews, Dan (Tracie) Krist and Robbie Krist; nieces, Buffy Krist and Gidget (Joel) Schauske; nephew-in-law, Mark Rispens; great-nephew, Marty (Kate) Rispens, and great-nieces, Kaitlyn, Abigail, Reese, and Addison Schauske. She was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Martin Olson Jr and R. Bruce Olson; brother-in-law, Kenneth Brusky and niece, Cindy Rispens. Pete's will be laid to rest in the Ephraim Moravian Cemetery alongside her brother, Bruce. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Ephraim Moravian Church Cemetery Fund. Casperson Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Sister Bay is assisting the Krist family.
