Russell B. Younk, 65, Sturgeon Bay, passed away on July 30, 2025, after a battle with cancer. Russ was born on September 12, 1959, to Russell and Bernice (Schneider) Younk. Russ married Sandi (Stuth) Carpenter in 1977 and had four children together. They later divorced in 1999. Russ enjoyed his life while working, hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends and family. Russ is survived by his children Ehren (Tracie) Younk, Ryan (Tara) Younk, Beth Rivera, Amanda (Tony) Runge, grandchildren Howard Morhbacher, Cole Younk, Katia Rivera, Talan Younk, Juan Rivera Jr, Kimber Younk, Isaac Runge, great-grand child Juan R Rivera-Hernandez Jr, Sister Amy (Dave) Kinnard, ex-wife Sandi Carpenter, long time roommate Yvonne Denny and many step family members. Russ is preceded in death by his parents Russell Younk and Bernice Krueger, brother Mick Younk, and stepfather Glen Krueger. Russ’s family would like to thank all the staff at Unity Hospice for all their help in the last days. Russ would like to especially thank Dr. Jazlowski for all his support throughout his cancer journey. Our family would also like thank Russ’ close friends for all of their love, support and guidance through this difficult journey.
