Ardis A. Fletcher

Ardis Anderson Fletcher, age 85, of Sister Bay, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025. Born and raised in Sister Bay, Ardis was a beloved member of the community whose warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit touched many lives. She took great pride in raising her children and, alongside her late husband, they owned and operated the Hotel Du Nord for many years. Ardis was a devoted member of her community. She loved gardening, attending the Sister Bay Moravian Church, and taking long drives around town while explaining the history of the area. She also had a long-standing love for the evening news. She watched it religiously from her recliner. She gave generously to those in need. Her quiet strength, kind spirit, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered always. Ardis will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She is survived by her children, Alicia Fletcher Arneson and Stephen Fletcher; her grandchildren, Brandon Gamble and Kelsey Keesee; her great-grandchildren, Emma and Lucy Keesee; and her sister-in-law Laura Lijewski and her husband, John. Ardis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Keyes Fletcher; her daughter, Alison Fletcher; her parents, Myrtle and Gilbert Anderson; her sister, Arlene Anderson; brother, Marston Anderson; and her daughter in law, Anne (Lautenbach) Fletcher. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The Sister Bay Historical Society or The Boys and Girls Club of the Bay and Lakes Region. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date. Casperson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Sister Bay, WI is assisting the Fletcher family. Expressions of sympathy, memories, and photos of Ardis may be shared with her family through her tribute page at www.CaspersonFuneralHome.com.
