Michael "Mac" McDonald

Michael James “Mac” McDonald, 71, of Little Sturgeon, passed away suddenly on August 12, 2025, at his home. He was born October 3, 1953, in Oshkosh to Thomas and Helen (Pokrandt) McDonald. On September 11, 2021, he married Keitha Seiler in Little Sturgeon. Mac graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1972. He was proud of his over 30-year career as a Teamster at SuperValu, retiring at the age of 58. Mac enjoyed boating, deer hunting, and snowmobiling. He was a member of the Green Bay Yachting Club and felt at home on the water, sharing special times boating with his father and friends. He and Keitha loved traveling together, visiting the Dominican Republic, Alaska, and Fort Myers Beach, to name a few destinaions. Time spent with his close friends from Little Sturgeon was especially meaningful to Mac, with many lasting friendships and fond memories made in the neighborhood and at Rouer’s Roadhouse. Mac will be remembered as a loving husband. Keitha was Mac’s rock, empowering him to navigate life’s ups and downs with unwavering optimism. Her unconditional love and devotion inspired a profound sense of joy and fulfillment in his life. Mac's daughters and grandchildren were his greatest pride and joy. His frequent phone calls to his daughters, simply to say hi and check in on his grandkids and grand-dogs, will be deeply missed. He cherished the time he spent with his family and celebrating special moments with them. Mac is survived by his wife, Keitha; his daughters, Nicole (Kenneth) Marzec of Green Bay and Lindsey (Nicholas) Ripp of Wrightstown; grandchildren, Micah, Jonah, and Lucah Marzec; Nya, Mila, and Koda Ripp; brother Patrick (Judy) McDonald and sister Connie (Stuart) Hall; stepson Joseph (Deborah) Stempinski of Madison; a nephew and neices. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 13, 2025, starting at noon, at the Harbor House Waterfront Bar & Grill (Wave Pointe Marina and Resort) in Little Sturgeon. Forbes Funeral Home is serving the family.
