Bonnie Jo Goehring, 73, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on August 30, 2025. She was born June 14, 1952, in Kansas to Ruth and Gilbert Goehring. Bonnie graduated from Appleton High School West, class of 1970. After graduation, she enlisted in the US Army, serving at Fort McClellan, AL and Fort Bragg, NC. Bonnie moved to Sturgeon Bay in 2016 to enjoy the beauty and comforts of Door County. She is survived by her beloved pet and companion Zoe; special friend Karen Grant; 2 brothers, Michael (Melissa) Jaegers of Holt, MI and Donald (Donna) Goehring of Wamego, KS; aunt Carol (Ken) Kositzke of Appleton, WI and caring neighbors, Jeff and Chris Dargis. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandmother Mina C. Hendricks and several aunts and uncles. No local services are planned. Burial with military honors will be conducted at Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Forbes Funeral is handling arrangements.
