Julie A. Englebert

Julie Ann Englebert (Kroening), 77, Casco, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, September 16, 2025. She was born August 10, 1948, to the late Alvin and Rhoda Kroening. She married the love of her life, Marvin Englebert, on November 12, 1966. He preceded her in death on April 7, 2011. Julie loved baking many sweet treats for her loved ones and was famous for her “grandma cookies”. Julie was often found crocheting or reading in her sunroom. She also enjoyed watching and listening to her birds. Julie spent most of her time planting flowers in her various flower beds. She also loved traveling with her sister and visiting many different wineries. But most of all, Julie enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren, whom she adored and loved greatly. Julie is survived by her children Nick (Alfie Dani) Englebert, California, Brenda (Mark) Griep, Brussels, Neil (Jenny) Englebert, Luxemburg; grandchildren, Erica (Kordell) Draves, Austin (friend Gabby) Griep, Erin (friend Braeden) Griep, and Jurnie, Jasper Englebert; brother and sisters Perry (Tammy) Kroening, Sue (friend Gary) Smith; brother-in-law Melvin (Marsha) Englebert; sisters-in-law Carol (Don) Derenne, Ruth (Joe) Kerscher, Grace Petrina, Cheryl (Joe) Zellner, Mary (David) Rhoades; many nieces and nephews. Julie was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; her parents Alvin and Rhoda Kroening; father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Florence Englebert; brothers-in-law Dennis Smith and Jim Petrina. A visitation will take place Friday, September 19, 2025, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, 2770 Bay Settlement Rd, Green Bay. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 with Pastor Carl Brewer officiating. Entombment to follow. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family.
