Joseph C. Gigot

Joseph “Joe” C. Gigot, age 67, Lincoln, died early Monday morning, October 20, 2025, at his home. He was born in Green Bay to Jeannie T. (Granius) Gigot and the late Lewellyn M. Gigot on September 19, 1958. On June 29, 1985, Joe married Tammy L. Delwiche at St. Mary of the Snows Church, Namur. He was employed with D & S Machine, Luxemburg, as a Certified Welding Inspector, until his retirement. His enjoyments included hunting, fishing, gardening, and most recently competing in shooting sports. He loved riding on the Gator or 4-wheeler with his children and grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. A member of St. Peter Church, Lincoln, he served his faith through his family. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Tammy and their children, Megan (Jeremy) Parizek, and Luke (Carolyn) Gigot; three grandchildren, Logan, Wesley, and Joey; his mother, Jeannie (Bill Bushner) Gigot; four siblings, Perry Gigot, Susan (Charles) Klein, Julie (Don) Allen, and Jackie (Gregg) Bushner; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Terina (Chris) Luedtke, Cheryl Delwiche; and very special nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Lewellyn Gigot; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Roy and Donna Delwiche; one brother-in-law Troy Delwiche. Friends may call Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at McMahon Funeral Home, Luxemburg. Closing prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday, October 24, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. at St. Peter Church, Lincoln. Funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Antonio Palaya officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Peter Cemetery, Lincoln. McMahon Funeral Home is assisting the Gigot family. Online condolences can be shared at McMahonFH.com.
