Sean Christopher Marquardt 27, of Algoma, passed away suddenly on October 25, 2025. He was born on July 22, 1998, in Sturgeon Bay, WI to John and Kelly Marquardt. Sean graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 2017. In 2018, he married Kim Mencheski in Door County. Sean enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He especially enjoyed spending time with his 3 children. Survivors include his wife; 3 children, Sofia, Calvin, and Payton; parents; grandparents, Ken and Pat Marquartdt, and Dale Kasten; 3 brothers, Austin (Lucy) Marquardt, Christian (Daytona) Marquardt, Nickolas (Rachael) Marquardt; 3 sisters, Angie Bebo, Tiffany Mencheski, and Megan (James) Hill; father-in-law, Michael Mencheski; 2 brothers-in-law, Carl Foat, and Kyle Mencheski. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jane Kasten; mother-in-law, Donna Mencheski. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Stella Maris Church in Egg Harbor with Rev. Thomas Farrell officiating. Burial will be in Holy Name of Mary Cemetery in Maplewood. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church on Tuesday.
