Loretta M. Wehausen, 96, Algoma, passed away, Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Sycamore Lodge.
She was born April 10, 1929, in Algoma to Frank and Mary (Bottkol) Entringer. Loretta graduated from the Algoma High School in 1947. Soon after she married Herbert Wehausen in Algoma on August 23, 1947.
Loretta was a stay-at-home mom raising her eight children. She enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, canning, making candy and decorating cakes in her spare time.
She is survived by her children; Mary (Dale) Dumman, Cheryl (Tony) Bouche, Lori (Jim) Marin, Bob (Roxanne) Wehausen and Brian (Bonnie) Wehausen; two daughters-in-law Elaine Wehausen and Linda Wehausen; 14 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one sister-in-law Mary Lou Wehausen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herb, three sons, Dennis, Jim and Ron, three grandchildren Katie, Nathan and Matt and other relatives.
Friends may call at the Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma, on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM with Ken Kinstetter officiating.
