Bruce Glenn Keller, age 76, of Wheaton, IL and Ephraim, WI, passed away January 14, 2026.
Bruce was born to Robert and Lorraine Keller on September 27, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois. Bruce and his family considered Door County their home away from home, but he primarily grew up in the Chicagoland area. He was a graduate of Barrington High School and later University of Illinois Chicago. He received his Master’s degree from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management in 1979. He began his marketing career at Cooperative Marketing (CM Partners), later starting his own firm - Classical Marketing - with two friends and valued business partners.
Bruce was a longtime car enthusiast. He raced cars with MCSCC, SCCA, and with his two brothers Rob and Randy as part of Keller Brothers Racing. He was also an avid runner and cyclist, having completed two Chicago marathons and multiple Door County Century bike rides. He continued to maintain his active lifestyle through fitness programs at local sports clubs as well as at the Door County YMCA in Fish Creek, WI.
He married his wife Pam in October 1990, raising their two daughters Danielle and Hanna in their West Chicago home along with several beloved dogs. Bruce and his family spent considerable time at their Ephraim home, which he and Pam bought in 1989. Some of Bruce’s favorite Door County establishments to enjoy with family and friends included Pearl Wine Cottage, Stabbur, Chef’s Hat, and Twelve Eleven Wine bar, and he and his family spent many a summer evening enjoying Wilson’s ice cream near the Ephraim Bay or enjoying the sunset at Anderson Dock. They attended over 30 Fyr Bal festivals - one of Bruce’s favorite Ephraim summer events - and he treasured little more than going for a long bike ride around the Door County peninsula. From boating, hiking, dining, and biking, Bruce and his family made several cherished memories in Door County, making it up to their favorite place multiple times a year - even as recently as November 2025.
Bruce is fondly remembered for his unwavering love of friends and family and ever-present sense of humor.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Lorraine Keller (née Anderson). He is survived by his wife Pamela (Cather) Keller; brothers Robert Keller and Randall Keller; aunt Daisy Trimnell; daughters Danielle (Matt) Huppert and Hanna Keller; grandchildren Lincoln Huppert, Milo Huppert, and a third grandson on the way; brothers-in-law John (Janet) Cather, Jr., Jim (Janet) Cather, sister-in-law Jeri (Mark) Davis; 3 nieces and 3 nephews, and many cousins.
