Helen D. Annoye, 95, Casco, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
She was born in the Town of Lincoln on January 16, 1931, to the late Julian and Catherine (Jandrin) Finendale. She married Elmer Annoye on July 15, 1947. Helen worked as a CNA in nursing homes where she cared for the loved ones of many families.
In her spare time, Helen loved working on crafts, with sewing, baking, quilting, and crocheting bringing her endless joy. She cherished her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother, spending many happy hours babysitting. Helen took great pride in her vegetable and flower garden. She also loved to travel to Nebraska to visit family.
Helen is survived by her children, Jane (Paul) Basken, Kewaunee; Gene (Lynn) Annoye, Green Bay; Dean (Chris) Annoye, Lincoln; Blane (Eileen) Annoye, Nebraska; Sue (Ken) Bero, Lincoln; grandchildren, Rick (Melanie) Basken, Amy (Randy) Peters, Alex (Tera) Annoye, Seth (Kristin) Annoye, Jason (Amy) Annoye, Jody (Julie) Annoye, Travis (Jamie) Annoye, Tory (Missy) Annoye, Brian (April) Annoye, Brianna Treantos, Becky (Brad) Dechamps, Katie (Zac) Everard, Stephanie (Brian) Ullmer, Matthew (Danielle) Wyngaard; great-grandchildren, Valentina Stueck; Bailey Peters; James Paral; Nolan, Ben, and Camryn Annoye; Elsie, Miriam, and Keely Annoye; Micah, Etta, and Ezra Annoye; Dylan and Cailey Annoye; Marissa and Jenna Annoye; Annie, Gretta, and Oliver Annoye; Gwen Annoye; Eli Treantos; Elena and Kane Dechamps; Ellis and Vivienne Everard; Cole and Olivia Ullmer; Liam and Levi Wyngaard; sister-in-law, Beverly Pierre; as well as by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; her parents. Julian and Catherine Finendale; brothers and sisters, Magdeline (Emery) Bellin, Agnes (Henry) LeDocq, Marvin (Helen) Finendale, Catherine (Vernie) Monfils, Genevieve (Richard) Monfils; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; as well as by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon at St. Peter Catholic Church – Lincoln. With Mass of Christian Burial following at 12:00 noon with Fr. Peter Onyango. Officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
