Marvin J. Robertoy, 89 years of Fish Creek, died Monday morning, April 20, 2026 at his home after being on hospice.
He was born December 28, 1936 in Juddville the son of the late Frank and Francis (Goranowski) Robertoy. On October 6, 1956 he married Loretta M. Merkle at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in West Jacksonport. Loretta preceded him in death on November 22, 2020.
Never afraid of hard work, Marvin owned and operated Hyline Orchard in Egg Harbor along with working long days in the shipyards at Bay Ship and PBI. He had a unique ability to fix, build and repurpose equipment he and Loretta used for his orchard operation. He was a member of Wisconsin Cherry Growers, the Door County Co-Op, The Fruit Growers, and CherrCo.
Marvin and Loretta enjoyed snowmobiling and making snowmen with his children and grandchildren, their pet dogs, and raising beefers.
Survivors include his two daughters, Nancy Delsart and Cindy (Dave) Enigl; sister, Rosemary (Leon) Hasenjager; seven grandchildren, Tracy (Dusty), Paul, Nathan (Amber),Meghan(Michael), Alyssa (Tyler), James (Kaari), and Justin; 13 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kimberly, Alli, Isabelle, Emma, Vicky, Brody, Mason, Ethan, Zaxxon, Huxley, Molly, and Katie. Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank and Francis Robertoy; wife, Loretta; Infant son, James; and son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Vicky Robertoy; and a sister and brother-in-law, Adeline and Donald Gray.
Funeral service will be held Friday, April 24, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay with Pastor Gary Scharrig officiating. Friends may call Friday at Huehns Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. with a reception to follow the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 27, 2026 at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Juddville.
