Glenn K. Teske

Glenn K. Teske, 80, Kewaunee, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

He was born in Kewaunee, WI on August 9, 1945, to the late Orme and Irene Teske. He was a 1963 graduate of Kewaunee High School. Glenn married Annette Kaye on April 27, 1968, at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Glenn served in the United States Army and Army Reserves from 1963 to 1971. He farmed on the family farm until his retirement.

He continued his passion for farming by helping Ebert Enterprises with field work. Glenn was very active in the community and church. He enjoyed watching and coaching sports and was an announcer for the Kewaunee High School football games.

Glenn enjoyed coffee and conversation each morning with his friends at the Kewaunee Fitness Center. He was the Treasurer for the Town of Pierce and Treasurer/Director of the Alaska Farmers Coop. Glenn served on the Board of Directors for the Union State Bank, a member of the American Legion Post 29, and was the Kewaunee Rotary person of the year. His greatest joy was being a husband, dad, and grandpa. He was affectionately known as “Grandpa Glenn” by many.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Annette; children, Michelle (Brian) Dax, Teresa (Scott) Bortolini, SuAnn (Doug) Detampel, Lori (Brian) Kleiman, Brian (Kathy) Teske; seventeen grandchildren, Aubree, Rachel and Sara (Max Hanrahan) Dax, Tanor (Sydney Zimmerman), Toni, and Blake Bortolini, Morgan Detampel, Max and Luke Kleiman, Tyler, Mason, Hailey, and Owen Teske, Alex, Arianna, Avery (Kendra), and Amaree Lyons; great grandchildren, Nora and Henry Lyons; brother-in-law, John (LuAnne) Kaye; sister-in-law, Diane (Ty) Pyan; further survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orme and Irene Teske; father-in-law and mother-in-law Henry and Hazel Kaye; sister, Gail (Gervaise) Bellin; brother-in-law, Bobby Kaye; and one nephew.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Kewaunee. Closing prayer service at 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday, June 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. at the church. Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Matthew Sprunger officiating. Full Military Rites to follow. Burial to take place at a later date.
