Julie M. Kleiman

Julie M. Kleiman, 82, Kewaunee, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11, 2026, with her family by her side. She was born on February 4, 1944, to the late Clarence Sr. and Julia Marit. She married David F. Kleiman on February 8, 1964. Together they built a family on their dairy farm. Julie’s faith in Jesus was very important to her as she made it a big part of her life to pray daily for her family. Julie was known as a kind, gentle, and generous person whose caring nature touched everyone she met. She had a special love for hummingbirds and found great happiness working in her garden. Julie enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, especially making her famous pizza burgers that became a favorite among family and friends. She also enjoyed playing cribbage and Sudoku, going to casinos, and gathering with family and friends for lively games of Sheepshead at card parties. Virginia, her cat, was a constant and loving companion. Above all else, Julie treasured her family. Spending time together created her greatest memories, whether it was sharing everyday moments at home or making unforgettable memories on cruises and trips to Las Vegas, Hawaii, and many other destinations. Her warmth, compassion, and unwavering love made everyone around her feel welcomed and valued. Julie is survived by her children: Christi (Jon Belleau) Faulk, John (Char) Kleiman, Lori (Mike) Bultman, Angie (Darrell) Gardner, Kim (David) Thomas, Kathy (Mitch) Tulachka, and Tony (Molly) Kleiman. Julie’s grandchildren include: Aidan Belleau, Alex Faulk, Jesse (Sabrina) Kleiman, Jack (special friend Amber Pilgrim) Kleiman, Jolisa (special friend Jackson Sinicki) Kleiman, Katie (Danny) Gall, Amanda (Austin) Kassner, Cody (Angie) Bultman, Savannah (special friend Xavier Carreon) Gardner, Sterling (special friend Kalynn Wilson) Gardner, Sahara (Epifanio) Peterson, Peter (Traci) Thomas, Michael (Selena) Thomas, Emily Thomas, Mitchel (Liv) Tulachka, Brandan (Brooke) Tulachka, Mikayla (fiancé Travis Leichtfuss) Tulachka, Bryce Tulachka, Bailey, Blake, and Brynn Kleiman. Julie’s great grandchildren include: Jaxon, Sierra, and Skylar Kleiman; Blake, Kinzie, and Boone Gall; Ella and Mia Kassner; Leighton Bultman; and Eric Thomas. She is further survived by sister, Jackie Jahnke; sisters-in-law, Eleanor Kleiman, Rosie Marit, Terry Marit, and Betty Marit; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Marlene and Claude Kastenholz; and many nieces and nephews. Julie was preceded in death by her loving husband, David; son-in-law, Brian Faulk; her parents, Clarence Sr. and Julia Marit; father-in-law and mother-in-law John “Jack” and Beatrice Kleiman; sisters, Carol Curi and Delores Haase; brothers, Clarence Marit Jr., Mike Marit, and Donny Marit; brothers-in-law, Jim Kleiman Sr., Bill Jahnke, and Dino Curi, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ron and Judy Kleiman; nieces, Jean Kleiman, Linda Tellez, and Debbie Laurent; and nephews, infant Godchild Leo Marit, and John and Jimmy Curi. A visitation will take place Friday, July 17, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services, Kewaunee. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church with Fr. Peter Onyango officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family.
