Rockers bit by Jacks late

The Battle Creek Jacks scored two runs in the seventh and one more in the eighth to top the streaking Green Bay Rockers 5-3 to end a six-game winning streak.

The Rockers took one-run leads in the third and fifth innings before eventually falling to the host Jacks with Jayson Jones' RBI single and a Kyle West home run providing the momentary moments of hope. Kyle Stoddard ran out of gas in the seventh, allowing two runs before exiting the game for Cooper Dorsett after going six innings in his start, striking out seven Jacks but giving up four runs.

The Rockers return home Monday when they host the Lakeshore Chinooks at 6:35 p.m.
