The 2023-2024 season is months away, but the start of their chemistry building is already a few days old.
Like many of the school's student-athletes, the two basketball teams moved into their respective dorm rooms over the weekend so they can get a jumpstart on coursework and their offseason programs.
Both teams are also helping their respective coaches with their youth camps. Women's Coach Kevin Borseth hosted their first-ever Little Phoenix Camp last week with some of the community's youngest fans. New men's coach Sundance Wicks kicked off his first youth camp on Monday.
The women's team looks to clinch their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament in several years while the men's squad looks to erase the memories of the Will Ryan era when they take the court for their first games in November.
