One of the faces of the Milwaukee Bucks organization could be heading to greener pastures.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported late Wednesday night that Khris Middleton declined his $40 million option to return to the team and he will instead test the waters of free agency. There is a chance Middleton could return on a more cap-friendly deal after the 32-year-old star had knee surgery in the offseason after the Bucks failed to get out of the first round of the NBA Playoffs this spring. Middleton's 10-year tenure with the Bucks has coincided with the team's most prosperous stretch in decades including the 2021 NBA Championship.
