The 6-5 Green Bay Blizzard can do something they have not done since 2019 with a strong finish to the end of the season, including Friday's game against Sioux Falls.
The Blizzard are looking to clinch their first post-pandemic playoff berth after winning four of their last five games. That includes a win two weeks ago that saw the Blizzard hold on to beat the Quad City Steamwheelers 45-38 despite being outscored in the fourth quarter 22-3. Max Meylor protected the ball while scoring four total touchdowns (two passing, two rushing) on the evening.
The Storm is a team trying to hold off the Blizzard in the standings with a 6-5 record, but a slightly better conference mark to hold the tiebreaker.
The Storm and Blizzard will battle at 7:05 p.m. in Sioux Falls.
