Islanders pay a visit to Baileys Harbor on 105.1 The GOAT

The Washington Island Islanders have kept their title hopes alive throughout the season and hope to continue the successful season against Baileys Harbor in week seven.

If the rain holds off Sunday afternoon, Washington Island will look to build off its big time win over West Jacksonport last week. Troy Jorgenson and Matt Foss have been the big time batters for the Islanders so far this season, and will look to bring the offense once again against an A's team who gave up 11 runs to Kolberg last week.

Baileys Harbor has stumbled a bit after picking up their first win in years, but have still been able to keep themselves relatively in striking distance in games. Against Kolberg, the A's left too many runners stranded in scoring position, something they will need to clean up down the stretch of the season. Chris Lodl has been a bright spot however for the A's.

Gary Barta and Jacob Nate will have the call from Baileys Harbor on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 1:15 p.m with the pregame show and  first pitch at 1:30 p.m. between the A's and the Islanders.

Other games around the DCBL include West Jacksonport at Kolberg, Institute visiting Egg Harbor, and Maplewood taking the trip up to Sister Bay.
