Rockers hang on against Dock Spiders

The Green Bay Rockers were able to fight past their I-41 rivals on Monday night, beating the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 4-3.

The Rockers opened the game with two runs in the first inning on an RBI single by Kyle West and a fielder's choice by Jack Holman. The two teams would trade runs the rest of the way, with Cooper Kelly driving in the winning run on a bases-loaded double play. George Wolkow also drove in a run for the Rockers. Brett Sanchez improved to 4-0 on the season, giving up three runs while striking out nine across six innings of work.

The Rockers are back at it Tuesday against the Dock Spiders, but they will head south for the 6:35 p.m. matchup.
