The Green Bay Packers announced the signing of their first-round pick Lukas Van Ess on Tuesday.
The 13th pick in the overall 2023 draft, Van Ess reportedly signed a four-year deal worth $17,388 million. The Packers control a fifth-year option through the 2027 season.
Van Ess, a linebacker out of Iowa, was a Freshman All-American in 2021 and was second-team all-Big Ten in 2022.
The signing of Van Ess leaves the Packers with only second-round picks tight end Luke Musgrave and receiver Jayden Reed unsigned.
