The Green Bay Rockers' offense fasted while the Wausau Woodchucks feasted in a 14-0 win Wednesday night.
After the two teams went scoreless after 2.5 innings, the Woodchucks scored in every frame the rest of the game, including three in both the third and fourth innings and five in the eighth inning. Dalton Pearson led the way for the Woodchucks, knocking in four runs while going 2-5 with a home run. Colin Brueggemann also homered as six other Woodchucks drove in runs. Kyle West led the way offensively for the Rockers, going 2-4 with a double. Kyle Stoddard took the loss for the Rockers, giving up three runs in three innings of work.
The Rockers will try it again Thursday night in Wausau at 6:35 p.m.
