Brewers rally to beat Cubs

Trailing 6-0, the Milwaukee Brewers made their biggest comeback of the year against the Chicago Cubs, posting a 8-6 win at American Family Field on Monday afternoon.

Newcomer Jahmai Jones hit a pinch-hit bases-loaded double in the seventh inning to score three runs to tie the game at 6-6.  The Brewers then took the lead in the eighth inning on an RBI single by Willy Adames and added another insurance run to take an 8-6 lead into the ninth.

All-Star Devin Williams closed out the game for his 18th save of the season after allowing a walk and hit before striking out the last batter.

Milwaukee and Chicago will now play at 3:10 p.m. in the second game of the four-game series.

Julio Tehran gave up six runs in the first three innings, but managed to go six innings before the Brewers' bullpen held the Cubs in check the rest of the way.
