The Sister Bay Bays continued their strong season in an impressive fashion as they took down Washington Island 9-1 on 105.1 The GOAT. 

The game was scoreless with pitchers Sam Forkert and Ryan Jorgenson dueling it out on the bump. The action did not begin until the third inning when Washington Island put their lone run on the board.  Caleb Cornell would come around to score after he singled and scored on an error by the left fielder. 

Sister Bay would respond right away with a four run top of the fourth inning, as Spencer Krause, Tom Sawyer, Griffen Cole and Sawyer Johnson would touch home to make it 4-1. 

Two more runs in the sixth inning would help Sam Forkert go six full innings with the one run scored being unearned. Matt Hecht would shut things down the rest of the way from the seventh to the ninth, and Sister Bay collected another win, their eight of the season. 

The Islanders will face off with Maplewood next Sunday on 105.1 The GOAT, and Sister Bay taking on Kolberg in a battle at the top of the standings.
