The Wausau Woodchucks put up crooked numbers in each of the first four innings en route to an 18-7 victory over the Green Bay Rockers.
Even in a seven-inning, rain-shortened contest, the Woodchucks pounded out 21 hits and scored all 18 of their runs before the Rockers could even get on the board. Jesse Donohoe homered twice and knocked in four runs while Brennan Holt and Mark Shallenberger each drove in five runs.
The Rockers finally got on the board in the fifth inning with three runs before registering another four runs in the sixth. Kendal Ewell and Cuyler Zukowski each drove in a pair in the loss for the Rockers.
The two teams will try it again Tuesday night at 6:35 p.m. in Wausau.
