Two players available in the supplemental draft on Tuesday were not selected by any team in the NFL, including the Green Bay Packers. According to the NFL Network, all 32 teams in the NFL decided not to draft Malachi Wideman from Jackson State or Milton Wright from Purdue in the supplemental draft held on Tuesday.
Both players were declared ineligible to play in the NCAA season this year, after the January deadline to sign up for the draft held this last April.
Since the Packers drafted three receivers and two tight ends in the regular draft this year and three others in 2022, the need was not there.
Both Wideman and Wright now become free agents and can sign with any team. Any team that would have drafted either player on Tuesday would have had to forfeit a future draft pick.
