Green Bay batters Battle Creek

An eight-run eighth inning added insult to injury as the Green Bay Rockers entered a new week with a 14-2 win over the Battle Creek Jacks Sunday afternoon.

The Rockers were up 3-0 before the Jacks got on the board in the fifth inning, only to erase the damage in the bottom of the sixth with three more runs. The Rockers would bat around in the eighth inning with Carlos Hernandez, Jayson Jones, and Jack Holman all homering. JoJo Jackson and Jones were each responsible for driving in four runs while Holman knocked in three runs. Grayson Walker picked up the win, allowing just one run on four hits across five innings of work.

The Rockers are on their All-Star break and will return to action on July 27th when they welcome to the Madison Mallards for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch.
