Egg Harbor hosts league leading Sister Bay on 105.1 The GOAT

The weather will be the complete opposite of the last time these two teams matched up, as in the first matchup the first pitch temperature was 53 degrees. No matter the weather, Sister Bay and Egg Harbor are set to bring the heat as two postseason hopefuls match up in Egg Harbor.

Egg Harbor is coming off of a crushing loss to Washington Island 6-5. The Indians had a commanding lead early, as much as 5-0 in the first inning, but had it slowly chipped away by the Islanders, pushing Egg Harbor just outside of the postseason picture with three games left to play. Cory Fuller, Cody Giesseman and Brady Kita have been some big names for the Indians so far this season, but will need to get shutdown pitching to stick with the Bays on Sunday.

Sister Bay blanked Baileys Harbor 8-0 last Sunday, moving them one step closer to the regular season crown and the first seed in the playoffs. It has been all Bays so far this season, and it was all Bays in the first matchup, as they won 9-2. Tom Sawyer had the big day for the Bays as he drove in three RBIs in the first two innings, and Sam Forkert was lights out as usual. If Sister Bay manages to take the win over Egg Harbor, they could clinch the league in front of their home fans next week.

Gary Barta and Reece Robillard will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com from Egg Harbor beginning at 1:15 with the pregame show and 1:30 pm for first pitch between the Indians and the Bays.
