Green Bay Rockers pitchers struggled to keep the ball in the yard on a sun-drenched afternoon in Ashwaubenon, losing to the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 9-1.

Andrew Galason homered twice while Jorge De Goti and Aidan Brewer each left Capital Credit Union Park once during the game as the Rafters outhit the Rockers 11-4. Brycen Parrish mowed down Rockers batters until the sixth inning when they pieced together two hits and scored on an error to make it 4-1. The Rafters would respond with three runs in the seventh and single tallies in the eighth and ninth to put the game even further out of reach. AJ Anzai had two hits in the loss for the Rockers.

On Monday, the Rockers head south on I-41 to face their rivals Fond du Lac Dock Spiders at 6:35 p.m.
