The Kolberg Braves will look to keep their top seed chances alive and avoid a stunning upset as they visit the Baileys Harbor A's on Sunday.
The Braves are coming off what might be their best win of the season, coming back from five runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to defeat the Washington Island Islanders 11-10. Kolberg still has a chance at the top seed in the playoffs and another regular season title, but will need help with Sister Bay losses. Nick LeCaptain was a big part of the win last week, hitting a walk-off home run in the ninth, after he hit a home run earlier in the game.
Baileys Harbor has a young roster with some bright pieces throughout the season, such as Caleb and Bryce Plzak, along with Chris Lodl. The A's fell to the Braves 11-1 in eight innings on Father's Day in the first half of the season, and will look to keep this one closer with the home field advantage of Baileys Harbor.
Gary Barta and Jacob Nate will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 1:15 with the pregame show and 1:30 pm for first pitch between the A's and the Braves.
