Packers welcome commissioner ahead of Patriots visit

The Green Bay Packers football team focused on 2023 inside the Don Hutson Center on Monday, the rest of the organization took some time to turn some attention to 2025.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was on hand to discuss the Packers' NFL Draft aspirations for 2025. He was slated to participate in the team's bike riding tradition along with Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers and take in the outdoor practice before rain showers hit the area earlier in the day, forcing the practice inside. Goodell lauded the Packers CEO Mark Murphy and the organization, saying there was no better place to host the NFL Draft than in Green Bay and that "there's no one who's been a greater of support of this community and all it can do" than Murphy according to quote posted on Packers.com.

The Packers also announced its practice times with the New England Patriots on Wednesday and Thursday as 10:30 a.m. starts. All but one of the public practices started at that time. They will announce the starting times for the last two public practices on August 22nd and 23rd at a later date.
