The Sevastopol Pioneers volleyball team had a successful opening to the 2023 season by winning a quad against Manawa, Gillet, and White Lake at the host school Gillet on Tuesday.  The Pioneers beat Manawa in the first contest 2-1, before defeating Gillet and White Lake three sets to one in the following matches. 

In area volleyball action Wednesday, the Luxemburg-Casco Spartans will start their season tonight with a quad at Denmark that features the Seymour Thunder, the Pulaski Red Raiders, and the host Vikings.
