Brewers top Twins for fourth-straight win

Propelled by a five-run sixth inning, the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Minnesota Twins 7-3 on Tuesday evening.

Milwaukee jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning on Willy Adames’ 20th home run of the season.  After the Twins managed to take a 3-2 lead in the fourth inning, the Brewers rallied with the five-run fifth inning capped off by Brian Anderson’s two-out, two-run single to center field.

Brewer starter Wade Miley struggled but was able to finish five innings allowing three runs on five hits.  Reliever Bryce Wilson (5-0) picked up the win pitching two perfect innings and Milwaukee was able to win for the fourth-straight game.

Dylan Floro (4-6) took the loss for the twins giving up all five runs in the fifth.

The two division leaders will face off again Wednesday again as Corbin Burnes (9-6) will take the mound for the Brewers and Kenta Maeda (3-7) will get the ball for the Twins.  The first pitch is set for 1:10 p.m. from American Family Field.
