The 2023 cross country season opened on Thursday with plenty of hardware won by local runners.
In Fish Creek, both the Luxemburg-Casco boys and girls teams took 2nd place out of close to a dozen teams in the Chief Kahquados Invitational. Southern Door's Ben Grota was the top local finisher in the boys' race with a time close to 18:10 on the 5K course. You can find the full results here or click on your favorite school's recap below.
Sevastopol will join Kaukauna, Little Chute, Seymour, Assumption, Brillion, Chilton, De Pere, Fox Valley Lutheran, Gillett, Green Bay East, Green Bay Preble, Northland Pines, Oconto Falls, Peshtigo, Winneconne, New London, St. Mary's Springs Academy, Weyauwega Fremont, Marinette, and Coleman for a cross country meet hosted by Freedom at Irish Waters Golf Course. The first race begins at 8:30 a.m.
