Area teams spread out at cross country meets

The area's cross country teams had their choice of several meets on Thursday to run in as they hit the second week of their season.

 

Luxemburg-Casco, Sevastopol, and Kewaunee will join Appleton East, Ashwaubenon, Bay Port, De Pere, Freedom, Gillett, Green Bay East, Green Bay Southwest, Gresham, Hartford Union High School, Kewaskum, Kimberly, Kohler, Laconia, Laona-Wabeno, Lena, Manitowoc Lincoln, Manitowoc Lutheran, Mukwonago, New London, Oconto Falls, Peshtigo, Plymouth, Pulaski, Seymour, Shawano Community, Waterford, Wausau West, West De Pere, Winnebago Lutheran Academy, Winneconne for the De Pere Invitational hosted on the campus of  UW-Green Bay.  JV races will take place before the varsity races, which begin at 4:30 p.m. for the girls and 5:15 p.m. for the boys.

 

Sturgeon Bay runs against Bonduel, Manitowoc Lutheran, Omro, Sheboygan Falls, Sheboygan North, Green Bay Preble, NEWCHAA (Northeast Wisconsin Christian Homeschoolers Athletic Associaton), and Providence Academy (Green Bay) at Green Bay's Josten Park beginning at 3:30 p.m.

 

Gibraltar finds itself with Kewaskum, Valders, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Hilbert, Howards Grove. Kohler, Little Chute, Mishicot, New Holstein, North Fond du Lac, Oostburg, Random Lake, Roncalli, St. Lawrence Seminary, Two Rivers, Washington County Home School Association, NEWCHAA (Northeast Wisconsin Christian Homeschoolers Athletic Associaton), Reedsville, Denmark, and Waupun in Kiel for an invitational that starts at 4 p.m.
